On Sunday FCC is holding the Glenveagh Escape tour. This is a 65 mile run thru some beautiful countryside. Fergal and Gavin will be leading this tour and look forward to your company. Last night’s FCC committee meeting was as usual lively and full of focus. Many of the usual topics were discussed, i.e. speed at club rides, youth programs, safety, racing teams, Ras Dun na nGall, etc. However, there were some concrete decisions taken and in no particular order here they are.

Special thanks to the guys at Castlereagh CC for yet another well marked course, great sandwiches and a warm cup of tea which kept my spirits up.

Note to self for next year - don't stop to put your coat on until everyone stops! Lost too much time on that score!

			<description>Once again we are all intending to do the Tour of the Glens and chances are that like previous years the weather will not be the best. Last year my wife was at Cushendall and had brought some spare dry clothes for me and Simon. 

Nicola is intending to do the same this year so if anyone would like to put some spare clothes/ gels/ drinks etc into the car could you please arrange to have them with me by Saturday. She will be going direct to Cushendall and not to Belfast.

			<description>Roe Valley CC are organising their annual Gort na Drum sportive through the sperrins. Two runs are available 60 miles and 30 miles.



The Gort na Drum is preparing an after event barbeque, (just outside their well stocked bar).  The BBQ is free to all event participants and supporters.  They are also covering event costs.  Therefore 100% of money raised goes straight to our chosen funds.

 

80% of entry fees/donations to Marie Curie, 20% to David McCall Foundation.
